About these terms
These terms apply when you use Voxa to make calls, send texts, hold phone numbers or buy eSIMs. By creating an account you agree to them. The service is provided by [confirm: legal entity name and registered address].
Accounts and workspaces
You need an account to buy credits and use the service. You are responsible for what happens in your account and in workspaces you own. A workspace owner decides who joins and which role each member has, and can see the workspace audit log.
Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. [confirm: minimum age and who may open an account]
Credits and payments
Credits are a prepaid balance. You buy them in packs, and each pack shows its price in US dollars. A workspace has one shared balance. Calls, texts, numbers and eSIMs each show their price in credits before you confirm, and your balance goes down by that amount.
Credit packs are paid for through [confirm: payment provider]. [confirm: taxes, whether credits expire, and what happens to unused credits when an account closes]
Calls
The price of a call depends on the country you call and is shown before you dial. A price for a country as a whole is an estimate: the exact price for a specific number is shown when you enter the full number.
Calls are billed per started minute, or in the step shown for that destination, using the duration our carrier reports when the call ends. Before a call starts we check your balance and set a time limit your credits can cover, so a call can end when that limit is reached.
Phone numbers and identity checks
Buying a phone number needs an identity check first, and some countries ask for extra registration details. The setup price and the monthly price are shown before you buy. Numbers renew each month from your balance.
If a renewal cannot be paid, the number is marked past due and can be released after a grace period. [confirm: length of the grace period and what is lost on release]
eSIM plans
An eSIM plan shows its data allowance and how long it lasts before you buy. You need a phone that supports eSIM. [confirm: what happens to unused data when a plan ends, and the eSIM provider terms that apply]
Text messages
Texts are sent and received through your phone numbers and each message shows its price in credits. Delivery depends on the networks involved and is not guaranteed. [confirm: sender registration rules and message content rules by country]
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- commit fraud or place calls or texts you are not allowed to make
- harass, threaten or deceive other people
- send unwanted bulk messages
- get around limits, identity checks or security measures
- [confirm: complete acceptable use list]
Failed purchases and refunds
If we cannot issue a phone number or an eSIM after taking the credits, the credits are refunded to your balance automatically and you are not charged. [confirm: other refund cases and the process for disputing a charge]
Availability of the service
The service relies on carriers and other providers. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. [confirm: service levels, if any]
Ending your account
[confirm: how you can close an account, when we may suspend or close one, and what happens to data and credits]
Liability
[confirm: limits on liability, warranties and indemnities, as drafted by counsel]
Governing law
[confirm: governing law and where disputes are handled]
Changes to these terms
[confirm: how and when we tell you about changes]
